Pure Slippery Elm Powder 200g

The demulcent effect of the mucilages found in Slippery elm is particularly effective when the herb is delivered as a powder mixed with water so it has a localised contact with the mucous membranes of the oesophagus and stomach. Slippery elm powder may be mixed with food such as banana and yoghurt, making it suitable and easy to use for children.

Each 5g dose contains:

• Ulmus rubra (Slippery elm) dried bark 5g

INDICATIONS FOR USE

• A traditional ‘mucilaginous’ herb which may help to soothe an irritated or unsettled stomach.
• Beneficial for assisting recovery in convalescence.
• Suitable for children.

DOSAGE Adults: Take 5g (1 heaped teaspoon) in 250mL of water three times daily. Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
